Our School Uniform: children can wear grey trousers, shorts or skirt with a white polo which can have the Alphington logo. All pupils should have a green sweatshirt or cardigan which again can have the Alphington logo on. Socks and tights should be white, black or grey and shoes should be plain black and suitable for a busy day in school. Please note trainers are not permitted as part of school uniform. The only jewellery allowed in school is a watch and stud earrings.
Bags: we use all the space we have in school for children’s learning so storage space is very limited. Please can we ask that children do not bring backpacks to school unless essential.
PE Kit: Pupils will need a green t-shirt which can have the Alphington logo, black shorts or plain black jogging bottoms for the winter. Suitable outdoor trainers are also required. On PE days we ask that children wear their PE kit to school. As we are lucky enough to have a swimming pool onsite, pupils will need a swimming costume/trunks and a towel.
During PE, for health and safety reasons, children must not wear earrings or jewellery. Children should remove their own earrings and store them safely or parents/carers should remove them at the start of the school day. Staff cannot remove earrings for children. Alternatively, surgical tape could be used to cover any earrings during PE on the day of your child’s PE lesson.
Outdoor learning: Outdoor learning is an integral part of our curriculum; therefore, children will need to have a pair of wellington boots and clothes suitable for outdoor learning in all weathers.

OPAL: as part of our OPAL lunchtimes we ask that children also have a pair of wellington boots and waterproofs that stay in school.
Uniform shed: we understand the uniform can be expensive so we work with our PTFA to run a uniform shed full of second hand uniform. All we ask is that you leave the shed tidy and organised and that you make a donation if you can.
