Here at Alphington, we are passionate about creating a love of reading for all of our pupils. With school currently closed to the majority of children, we have been busy designing our new school library and are excited to share our plans with you.
To make our library a truly beautiful place for children to enjoy books and to encourage everyone to continue reading, we would like to invite you to join our Half Term Sponsored Reading Challenge to help us raise as much money as possible to transform our school library.
Children will be set different reading challenges to work on starting from Monday 15th February until Monday 22nd February. Children can be sponsored for each challenge individually or as a whole. All money raised can be sent to us through School Comms and more information on this will be sent via email.
All children who take part in our sponsored reading event will be entered into a special prize draw to win book tokens so they can continue their love of reading.
